Clematis 'Sun Star'

Small, yellow flowers with red-brown anthers. Offered free by Unwin's Seeds in the UK with the BBC 'Gardeners' World' magazine in 2001. Suitable for growing in hanging baskets. According to the International Clematis Register and Checklist "about 1989, Unwins Seeds in the UK began to offer Sun Star. Sun Star is a seed line from 'Helios' and the seedlings cannot be considered to be identical to 'Helios', nor can it be considered to be a cultivar name;... [it] has no standing."
