Clematis armandii var biondiana

Scented, white or cream-white flowers, often becoming flushed with pink. Anthers cream or pale yellow. Requires shelter from cold winds. Large, leathery evergreen foliage, bronze when young. The International Register and Checklist of Clematis 2002 states that biondiana is actually a synonym of armandii itself, although some texts (notably the Toomey and Leeds Encyclopedia of Clematis list them separately.

Note that some forms of armandii may be toxic to animals, especially dogs.
