Clematis tangutica subsp.. obtusiuscula

Small mid-yellow lantern-shaped flowers in July-October, followed by attractive silvery seed heads. Introduced from China in 1908 by Ernest Wilson. Obtusiuscula has more open flowers than the type with spreading, thicker tepals.
