Clematis 'Admiration'

Texensis type with upward facing flowers, salmon pink with a violet margin. Yellow stamens. This cultivar is mentioned by Markham (1935) but now appears to be lost from cultivation - please contact us if you know otherwise. As early as 1912, William Robinson in his book 'The Virgin's Bower' lists this cultivar as "trusted to give lovely effects if culture and position be all [it] deserves."
