Clematis 'Yatsuhashi' (Hirota 1995)

Japanese large-flowered variety, tepals deep reddish purple with white middle bar. Anthers orange yellow. The width of the bar ranges from negligable to wide.

The cultivar name is that of a district (=eight bridges) and also the name of a nursery famous for its cultivation of iris laevigata. Not to be confused with a cultivar of the same name raised by General Sakurai.
