Clematis 'Amalia'
Pale blue-lilac flowers with blue-violet anthers. According to Magnus Johnson, this was a cultivar of patens brought from Japan to Europe in 1836 by von Siebold. The last reference to it seems to be in Spingarn's 1935 lists and it seems to be lost from cultivation. If you know otherwise, please contact us.
