Clematis 'Catherine Clanwilliam'

Although a texensis hybrid, the flowers of 'Catherine Clanwilliam' open much wider than is usual. Rose pink flowers with yellow anthers followed by attractive seedheads. Barry Fretwell's own website notes that the form "is named for Lady Clanwilliam; a very keen gardener who has made interesting and delightful gardens both in Northern Ireland and in the county of Wiltshire in south western England."
