Clematis 'Dilly Dilly'

Large, deep lavender-mauve flowers. (From a line in an old children's rhyme Lavender blue, dilly dilly.)

Frank Watkinson's 1989 catalogue suggests that this form should not be pruned at all, but that is unusual advice for what is clearly a Group 2 plant. Our thanks to John Skill for providing the catalogue information.
