Clematis 'Pallida' (Fortune)

Very large, very pale blue flowers. According to the International Clematis Register and Checklist 2002 it was found in a garden in Japan and introduced into Europe by Robert Fortune in 1850. It is very similar to lanuginosa itself and may be synonymous.
