Clematis 'Prince Alfred of Edinburgh'

Large, pale mauve flowers with a paler bar that fades to white. Purple-maroon or purple-brown anthers. The cultivar was picked out by the then Duchess of Edinburgh at Jackman's 1875 exhibition to bear the name of her son.
