Clematis 'Regency' (1975)
Large, pale lavender flowers with a red bar. The margin of the tepals is slightly ruffled. This cultivar is listed in the 1975 Cunningham Gardens catalogue.
It was originally thought that this was a different 'Regency' from 'Regency' (1999) but there is now evidence to suggest that they are the same plant and that this version was mis-described in its catalogue entry.
