Clematis 'Rupplieaux'

Medium to large light purple flowers, the sides of the tepals being strong lilac or lilac-pink. The outside of the tepal has a white bar. Deep purple-violet anthers on white filaments. The curious name arises from the fact that Magnus Johnson considered the flowers similar to those of 'Doctor Ruppel' and 'Souvenir de Capitaine Thuilleaux'.
