Clematis 'Shaljapin'
Violet flowers. This cultivar is listed in Wim Snoeijer's 1991 Checklist of Clematis grown in Holland with only this minimal description. T and V Bubliy writing in Clematis International 2007 attribute the cultivar to M F Sharonova. Fedor Shaljapin (1873-1938) was a Russian opera singer.
