Clematis armandii 'ENHAM Star'

Scented, white or cream-white flowers, often becoming flushed with pink. Anthers cream or pale yellow. Requires shelter from cold winds. Large, leathery evergreen foliage, bronze when young. The publicity material states that this form has "many more flowers [than] the mother plant". The form has been developed at the horticulture division of a UK national disability charity called ENHAM; hence its name. A proportion of the income from the sale of these plants will go to help the work of the charity.

Note that some forms of armandii may be toxic to animals, especially dogs.
