Clematis 'Purity' (Forsteri group)

Evergreen climber with attractive, medium sized fragrant flowers which open pale green and mature to cream. Contrasting dusky pink anthers. The plant produces long draping growths with large, glossy green leaves. Exceptionally frost tolerant (down to -15 deg C according to the distributors). Originally this cultivar was called 'The Bride' but it was renamed when it was found that the name had already been used; unfortunately 'Purity' has also been used before.
