Large, flat flowers opening mauve-pink, maturing to rose-pink, ageing pale pink with purplish midveins (except for whitish base). Filaments mauve-pink, ageing to pale pink; connectives dark crimson-purple; anthers pale reddish purple. Fruit-heads persistent.
