Clematis ochotensis 'Carmen Rose'

Medium sized, nodding, bell-shaped, purple to purplish-pink flowers with clear red-purple veins. The staminodes are creamy-white, tinged pink at the tips. Raised from seed of ochotensis sent from Kamchatka by Eric Hulten. In early catalogues it was distributed as platysepala var rosea.
