Medium- to large-sized, white flowers with dark purple-red margins. Filaments white, tinged purple near top; connectives dark purple; anthers pale purple. The breeder would classify this in the Patens Group which the International Clematis Register and Checklist treats as a subset of the Early Large-flowered Group.
