Clematis 'Purple Star'

Medium to large flowers, inside brilliant violet with a slightly reddish bar, outside brilliant violet with pronounced white bar (sometimes tinged purple near tip). The colours changes from dark purple to light purple depending on the developing stage. Stamens numerous; filaments white; connectives black; anthers white.
