Medium sized, nodding, bell-shaped, deep yellow flowers. Lightly scented. Filaments greenish-yellow, anthers yellow.

The name is an abbreviated form of the Polish female given name Katarzyna (in English, Katharine), named in this case after the breeder's eldest daughter.
