Clematis 'Snow Queen'

Large white flowers, initially tinged mauve, with wavy-edged tepals and dramatic red anthers. The autumn flowers often have a pale pink stripe. A chance seedling discovered by Mr. W.S. Callick of New Zealand in 1956. Named in 1958 by Alister Keay and introduced into the UK. by Jim Fisk in 1983.
