Clematis tibetana subsp. vernayi 'Marmalade'

Small, broadly bell-shaped, nodding or drooping flowers. Outside brownish yellow-orange heavily mottled dark reddish-purple; inside orange-yellow with reddish-purple speckling. Filaments and connectives dark purple-red, anthers pale greenish-yellow. Seed heads persistent.

The name reflects the mottled flower colour.
