Clematis 'Kathleen Wheeler'

Large rosy-mauve flowers with gold stamens. Tepals have deep veins of mauve-pink. Raised by Walter Pennell (1952 according to Magnus Johnson in Slaktet Klematis - RG) and named in 1967 after the wife of Pennell's Doncaster shop manager. A seedling of 'Mrs. Spencer Castle'.
