Clematis 'Lord Nevill'

Dark violet-blue flowers with a purple bar and veins often semi-double in the early summer. Purple or red anthers on white filaments. The variety received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit in 1993. The International Clematis Register and Checklist 2002 notes that under some circumstances the flowers may be a reddish-plum colour.
