Clematis 'Tibetan Mix'

Tangutica/Tibetana type. Semi-nodding flowers. The tepals are greenish-yellow speckled with purple on the outside, brighter yellow more densely speckled on the inside. Deep purple filaments. The result of a deliberate cross between C. tibetana subsp. vernayi var laciniifolia and C. ladakhiana made by Wim Snoeijer at the collection of John Fopma, Holland. Introduced by Jan Van Zoest in 1997. A vigorous cultivar with attractive glaucous foliage.
