Clematis 'Sir Trevor Lawrence'

Small, outward facing, bell-shaped flowers, reddish-purple with red stripe. Yellow anthers and cream stamens. One of a group of six varieties Jackman produced by crossing C. texensis with 'Star of India'. These varieties came to be known as the Wokingensis Hybrids, 'Sir Trevor Lawrence' (named after a former president of the R.H.S.) and 'Duchess of Albany' are thought to be the only two of these hybrids still in existence.
