Clematis 'Södertälje'

Viticella type. Reddish-pink flowers with greenish anthers. A seedling of C. viticella 'Grandiflora Sanguinea' raised by Magnus Johnson of Sweden in 1952. 'Södertälje' is named after the location of Mr. Johnson's nursery. This cultivar became mixed up, at some stage, being sold as 'Grandiflora Sanguinea'.
