Clematis 'W S Callick'

Large bright red flowers with red-brown or purple-brown stamens. This cultivar will flower in May-June and September with only light pruning (Group 2) or July-September if hard pruned (Group 3). The cultivar was raised by Alister Keay in Christchurch, New Zealand and named after a friend. 'W S Callick' was introduced into the UK by Jim Fisk.
