Clematis 'Zolotoi Iubilei'

Violet-purple flowers fading to violet-blue. Prominent yellow anthers. Raised by M.A. Beskaravainaja at the State Nikitsky Botanic Garden, Ukraine in 1968. Named 'Zolotoi Iubilei', meaning 'Golden Jubilee', in 1976 in honour of the golden jubilee of the breeder's parents. This beautiful hybrid of 'Jackmanii' x 'Nelly Moser' is free-flowering and has attractive foliage, stems and new leaves tinged purple.
