Clematis on the Web :: clematis detail
Clematis 'Star Burst' ('RobloM')

Medium to large, slightly scented, purple-red flowers with pinkish white bar. Bright greenish-yellow anthers on pinkish white filaments. Fruit heads persistent.

According to the international rules on nomenclature, this cultivar is called 'RobloM', but most readers will know it as 'Star Burst' (under which name it was first publicised) and so we have listed it under that name.

There is a belief in some parts of the trade that 'Star Burst' is the same plant as 'Kakio' (Pink Champagne).
