Clematis 'Blue Ravine'

Large to very large, violet-blue flowers with deeper midribs and veining on the wavy-edged tepals. Dark red or purple anthers on whitish stamens. Donated to the University of British Columbia Botanical Garden for registration, propagation and release. May bleach in direct sun. Believed to be an open pollinated hybrid of C 'Nelly Moser' and C 'Ramona'.
