Clematis 'Souvenir du Capitaine Thuilleaux'

Large pale pink flowers, fading in time to silver-grey, with vivid deep pink bar. Crimson or dark violet-purple anthers. Raised by J. Thuilleaux, a nurseryman from St. Cloud, France, in 1918 and named in remembrance of his son who died in the First World War.
