Clematis cirrhosa 'Wisley Cream'

Small, nodding, cream bell-shaped flowers - often tinged green - with cream stamens. Evergreen. Robin Savill records that the form was raised at the RHS garden at Wisley by the late Ken Aslet, from seed collected in southern Europe and introduced by Raymond Evison in the 1970s; the International Clematis Register and Checklist says that it was selected and named by Raymond Evison from seed collected by Ken Aslet.
