Clematis 'Kashoku-no-mai' (Hotta)
Japanese large-flowered variety, tepals white. Anthers reddish purple. The cultivar name means the dance at a wedding celebration.
Not to be confused with a double form named 'Kashokuno-mai'. That said, close examination of this photograph shows an aberrant petaloid structure at the base of the stamens which raises the possibility of a double form. More research is taking place.
