Medium to large ruby-red flowers, flushed brighter red. Slightly darker bar. Anthers greenish or dark red-brown.. A chance seedling discovered, and named, by Mrs A Edwards of Christchurch, New Zealand in 1968. Introduced into the UK by Jim Fisk in 1984 via Alister Keay.
