Clematis 'Beverley'

Flowers hermaphrodite, single, flat or flattish, upward- or outward- facing, borne singly; pedicels with white indumentum.

All three types of flower occur on the same plant. Inside of sepals strong purple (N82A) to strong purple (83C), maturing to strong purple (83D). Outside of sepal light purple with three distinct dark reddish purple ribs and white indumentum. Flowers on current year's growth. Hardy.

Leaves divided with 3-5 leaflets, green maturing to mid-green, with white indumentum.

Named for the Registrant's daugher. The cultivar was produced from the opposite crossing that resulted in Clematis 'Anna Mae'.
