Large crimson to purple-red double or semi-double flowers in June, single flowers on new growth later. Tepals have a slightly pale bar. Cream or pale yellow anthers. Raised by Houry in France (although according to Robin Savill some sources give Charles Noble of Sunningdale or George Jackman and Son).
