Clematis 'Masquerade'

Large blue-mauve flowers with rosy bar. An outstanding variety, very free-flowering and compact. Introduced by Raymond Evison in 1994. Originally received by Mr. Evison labelled with another name, later investigation proved the label to be incorrect, hence the name 'Masquerade'. Not to be confused with C. 'Maskarad', a viticella type often sold in the UK under the trade designation 'Masquerade'.
