Clematis 'Miss Crawshay'

Large pale mauve-pink semi-double flowers in May-June. Single flowers in September. A hybrid of C. patens x C. lanuginosa raised by Jackmans of Woking around 1873. In 1912, William Robinson in his book 'The Virgin's Bower' lists this cultivar as "trusted to give lovely effects if culture and position be all [it] deserves."
