Clematis montana var rubens 'Veitch'

Small, scented, deep pink flowers with yellow anthers on white filaments. This form was grown by the Veitch nursery from seed collected in the wild. The International Clematis Register and Checklist Second Supplement notes that "it is almost certainly 'Veitch's Form'." Named by John Howells.
