Clematis 'Nikolai Rubtsov'

Large mauve-red flowers with a paler stripe. Yellow anthers. An outstanding, free-flowering variety raised by M.A. Beskaravainaja and A.N. Volosenko-Valenis at the State Nikitsky Botanic Gardens, Crimea in 1967. Named after the famous Soviet botanist Professor N I Rubtsov. A stunning hybrid of 'Jackmanii' x 'Nelly Moser'.
