Clematis 'Werner's Polarlight'

Small, nodding, bell-shaped, violet flowers with greenish-white staminodes sometimes having violet tips. Fruit heads persistent. Originally released as fauriei 'Polarlight' but renamed so as not to be confused with the much older 'Polarlicht' which seems lost to cultivation; given that the fauriei parentage was uncertain this part of the name was dropped.
