Clematis 'Prins Hendrik' (Early Large-flowered Group)

Large or very large, strongly veined, bright mauve-blue flowers. Outside paler with yet paler bar. Purple or red anthers on white or greeny-white filaments. Named after the husband of Queen Wilhelmina of Holland.

Not to be confused with an integrifolia x viticella form of the same name now thought to be lost to cultivation.
