Small, nodding, bell-shaped flowers; inside deep pink with slightly darker veins, outside pale pink and covered in white down. Filaments and anthers creamy white; connectives pale green. Seed-heads persistent.

Named after the chairman of the UK North-West Plant Heritage Group.
