Clematis 'Susan Allsop'

Rosy-purple flowers with a magenta bar. Yellow anthers. Raised by Walter Pennell from seed set in 1962 ('Beauty of Worcester' x 'King Edward VII') and sown in 1963. Named in 1973. Susan Allsop was a Pennell's employee, assisting Walter Pennell with pollination work.
