Clematis 'Goshozome'

Large, flattish pale purple flowers with a slightly paler bar; outside pale purple with a purple-red bar; flowers become whitish with age. Filaments white with a brown spot halfway along length; anthers pale yellow. Seed-heads persistent.

'Goshozome' is a light and astringent red colour which the tepals resemble.
