Clematis 'Merja'

Large, flat, white flowers with a pale red-pink bar. Filaments yellowish white becoming violet at tip; connectives dark violet; anthers violet; pollen white; stigmas creamy white. Seed-heads persistent.

In Finland, the old growth sometimes remains over the winter and flowering begins in June.
