Clematis 'Królowa Bona'

Semi-double to double, flat or flattish, medium-sized flowers, violet-purple with a purple-red bar which becomes paler as the flower matures. Filaments creamy white; anthers pale yellow. Seed heads persistent.

Bona Sforza d'Aragona (2nd February 1494 - 19th November 1557) was Queen of Poland and Grand Duchess of Lithuania, and the second wife of Sigismund I the Old.
