Clematis x jouiniana

Small, slightly scented, greenish-white or cream flowers changing to lilac or blue-violet towards the base and tip and on the outside. Initially in a tubular configuration, the tepals spread with age. Cream-white anthers on white filaments. Raised at the nursery of Simon-Louis Frères, Metz around 1900 and named after Emile Jouin, the nursery manager.
