Clematis 'Ken Donson'

Large deep blue flowers with contrasting gold stamens. Raised by Walter Pennell from seed set in 1961 and sown in 1962 and named after a long serving employee in 1976. A hybrid of 'Barbara Jackman' x 'Daniel Deronda'. The variety has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
